Here are some answers:

Who are'Portishead Knits!'? We are a sociable bunch of knitters living in Portishead who like a drink whilst we purl and love to knatter while we knit.

We are pretty sure that there are plenty of other people in Portishead who like the idea of joining us in the pub with a current knitting project to work on.


Who can come? EVERYONE is welcome to come along regardless of whether they have knitted before or not. Just a passion for learning and a desire to make something with your own crafty hands!

There is no restriction on age - as long as you are not easily offended by some of the knitting banter...

The founder is a new mum, who has recently moved to Portishead, rediscovered her needles and found out that she's not the only one who likes to knit under the influence.


When/ where do you meet? We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm

We will also be asking The Mercury and The Portishead Times to publish our dates in their community pages too.
